PLEASE DO NOT ASK IF WE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MAKER, VALUE, OR ORIGIN OF YOUR WHEEL. used table loom Used 4-Harness Table Loom and Stand Click on image to enlarge and see details. Four-harness table loom on stand, made by Flintridge Woodshop in Sister Bay, Wisconsin appears to be cherry wood, and is marked "1976 #5". It has a 20" weaving width, and comes with an 8 dent reed and flat steel heddles. Levers on top of the loom operate the harnesses. Overall dimensions are 27"w, 35"d, 23" castle height; it sits on a 28" high stand. Both loom and stand will fold down for storage, and the loom has a leather carrying strap. Gears are wood; we do not recommend rug weaving on this loom (1 tooth missing from rear gear, should not affect performance). A modification has been made to front and back beams to increase the shed (see detail photo). Pick up in Door County, Wisconsin for $250, or we can ship for an additional $75. This is a loom we are selling for a friend, so if you wish further information, we will connect you with her. Cash, check or MO only.(consign42)

Used & Unusual Spinning Wheel (pictured at right; click on image for a different view). The owner says: This very attractive wheel is of uncertain origin, but bears the marks of a master craftsman throughout, and the wheel spins true. It is golden oak and features a double-treadle, double-drive system, along with unusual brass fittings. Spindles and legs are exquisitely lathe-turned, joints are secured with wooden pegs, and there are a number of solid brass fittings, including the outer surface of the wheel hub and a brass maker (or owner) plate inscribed "T.A.G./1967". Measuements are 35-1/2" high, 28" wide, with a wheel diameter of 19-1/2". Priced at $350. The wheel may be viewed at the owner's Door County, Wisconsin home, by appointment. Phone 920-743-8463 or email the owner directly: dickmckinlay(at)sbcglobal.net (consign43) handmade spinning wheel
child's antique spinning wheel Charming Antique Spinning Wheel (image at left). This is a beautiful little antique wheel from the Balkan area, no doubt a child's wheel. It is believed to be from around the 1820's, and It does spin! The flyer is somewhat unusual in that it is made from iron rather than wood. The legs have been replaced, and the wheel exhibits a few pits, chips, wormholes and cracks, but the wood is beautiful and has a nice patina. Dimensions are 26-1/2" x 26-1/2" x 19". $350 plus shipping. Check or MO only.(au8888xxx5)

Antique Click Reel Skein Winder This has a stand and the clock (click) which makes the noise as skeins are wound, however, it is missing the winder. The clock has no missing teeth. Dimensions are 15" w x 29"h x 19"d. A good project if you're handy and like antiques. Priced at $30 plus shipping, Check or MO only. (au8888xxxx-2)antique click reel skein winder

danish loom lervad?
Antique Danish Weaving Loom Four Harness six treadle Counterbalance Floor Loom, approx. 26" weaving width. Overall dimensions 32" x 72" x 36" deep. May be a Lervad loom; quite a charming antique loom. The loom comes with a 10 dent reed (some rust but useable). Wood condition needs a little TLC. 1 spoke on the brake gear is missing (not a functional issue). Quite an elegant loom in its day, this danish loom will be available for $750 (cash, check or MO) after we make some adjustments. Or you can save $100 by adjusting the horses and harnesses yourself in which case it is available now. Note that the photo shows only 2 of the 4 harnesses, and heddles are not shown. This loom must be picked up at our Sturgeon Bay, WI shop.(aulervad)

Lily Mills Table Loom (pictured at right). This inkle loom is probably from the 50's or 60's, in good condition. Weaving width approx. 6". The overall length of the loom is 24". Priced at $30. Check or MO only. (au8888xxxx-5)lily mills lilly mills inkle loom
worldstarAntique Circular Sock Knitting Machine, Creelman Worlds Star or Legare Click on image at left for larger views. Not your average antique sock knitter, we are offering a real collector's item! There is no name on the machine, but according to my research, it is either a Creelman World's-Star machine, or a very unusual P.T.Legare machine of the same design as a Worlds Star. Here is some of the history - Creelman Brothers "were established in 1872 in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada, had 6 models, and were in business for 44 years." P.T. Legare's similar machine - "Grand and impressive, this Canadian sock machine matches the Creelman Brothers' "Star", "New Star" and "World Star" sock machines in appearance. Much like the Creelman Brothers' sock machines, ribber dials ranged from 28 - 50+ slots and cylinders held 48 -100+ slots. Aside from label variations, P. T. Legare's initial design for these large sock machines remained unchanged."
This very large machine has a 72 slot cylinder, and a 36 slot ribber dial. Included with the machine is quite an unusual ribber, set up basket, yarn carrier, 5-thread top and yarn mast (very unusual but not original to this machine), weights, cylinder spring, newly made wood buckle, bobbin winder, bobbin, and needles. It is as found originally except as noted, and has not been restored or had the stitch length adjusted, but all the parts fit properly and it is in average to good condition. We believe it will work well after cleaning, sanding, oiling and adjusting, and possibly some minor repairs. (There is some rust on the ribber adjustment knobs and ribber yarn guide.) It comes with 72 new 12 gauge cylinder needles and 36 new ribber needles to get you started. This machine is on display in our Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, retail shop. Priced at $850 (cash or check or MO) plus shipping. (Stand shown in large image is not included.) (aukccollection2)
