TABLE WEAVING LOOMS - 4, 8, AND 16 HARNESS: SCHACHT, GLIMAKRA & ASHFORD
TABLE WEAVING LOOMS Table looms provide a way for both new and experienced weavers to try out weaving without the expense of a larger floor loom. We offer selections for those who wish to explore weaving on a budget, and who are looking for much more future potential in their weaving than offered on rigid heddle or frame looms. Many beginners choose 4 harness table looms from the start, rather than beginning with a rigid heddle loom that they later find may not meet their creative requirements. This page features 4 or 8 harness (4 or 8 shaft) table looms which work with hand levers rather than foot treadles, and even a 16 harness loom for complex weaving. Many of these looms can be converted to floor looms with the stand and treadle options offered. Professional, detailed weaving can be accomplished with these looms, as well as simple plain weave. Free shipping.

TAPESTRY WEAVING LOOMS: SCHACHT & MIRRIX
TAPESTRY WEAVING LOOMS Tapestry weaving is considered by many to be the most personal of all weaving. Among the simplest of looms, the tapestry loom holds a continuous warp under tension, allowing the weaver to see all of the warp at once. Sheds are formed using heddle bars and string heddles; some of the looms shown below even have a shedding device to enable you to use the tapestry weaving loom as you wood a 2 harness loom. We offer tapestry looms from very simple looms to professional level tapestry looms with a foot treadle. Schacht and Mirrix tapestry weaving looms are represented.

TRIANGLE WEAVING LOOMS: APPLE HOLLOW
TRIANGLE WEAVING LOOMS Our version of the triangle frame loom for weaving shawls, bias blankets and throws, and more, limited only by your imagination! Our hand-made triangle loom kit is 6'8" on the long edge to provide a large shawl, and we also have a 40" version, with pegs inserted, for other projects. Even if you have never woven before, this type of loom makes it easy by letting you warp and weave simultaneously, using a continuous weave method; there is no wasted yarn in weaving on a triangular loom, and no expensive weaving accessories are required. You'll weave directly by pulling a loop of yarn from a center-pull ball through each row of yarn. The average full-sized shawl takes less than 400 yards of yarn; the small version takes less than 100 yards. Sturdily built of oak with hardwood pegs, the loom disassembles for storage within seconds. Free shipping.

INKLE LOOMS & OTHER SMALL LOOMS: SCHACHT, GLIMAKRA & ASHFORD
INKLE LOOMS AND OTHER SMALL LOOMS The Inkle Loom is a loom every weaver should have. It is great for weaving belts and bands, even guitar or camera straps. Inkle looms are great for start-up weaving programs because they require little additional equipment, are easy to use and understand, and are easily stored. Often used with fine perle cotton warp and weft, the inkle looms easily make colorful, useful products. We offer Ashford, Schacht, and Glimakra inkle looms. Free shipping.
