ANSWERS TO COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING, AND HOW IS MY ORDER DELIVERED?
Depending on the package size and weight, most packages will be delivered by the US Postal Service, or UPS or Fed Ex. We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Unfortunately, after keeping our shipping prices the same for over 2 years, despite increases from all of the carriers, we have been forced to update our shipping prices. Small packages (under 2 - 3#) usually will ship via priority mail, or parcel post. Larger and heavier packages will ship by a carrier such as UPS or Fed Ex. Floor looms are shipped via truck freight. Many of the heavier items on our site, such as spinning wheels or larger looms will have shipping included in the price, and you will see "free shipping" for those individual items when you view your shopping cart, as well as in the description for that item. Other items have shipping calculated by weight, and the cart will show the correct shipping charge, while it disregards the weight of items with "free shipping". "Free shipping" only applies in the lower 48 states. The following chart shows typical shipping charges for the continental US:

If for some reason either UPS or USPS deliveries are not possible at your street address, please place your order by phone or use the "mail order" check out rather than paying with credit card or paypal; likewise, if you require delivery to a Post Office Box. If you require expedited or Rush delivery service, please place your order by phone, or use the "mail order" check out, and we'll contact you with a total before billing you. The charge for rush shipping is the actual shipping cost plus $5.00 handling.
WHAT SALES TAXES ARE CHARGED?
Only Wisconsin orders are taxed, at 5.5%. The shopping cart will automatically calculate this.
WHAT DOES CURBSIDE DELIVERY FOR FLOOR LOOMS MEAN?
Truckers will not help unload floor looms or help you get them into the house. Curbside delivery means that you need to get the loom off the truck, from your street or driveway, and have helpers ready. You are notified in plenty of time when the shipment will arrive, and can make arrangements with the trucking company so you can do this at a time convenient for you. If you ask the trucker to get the loom off the truck for you, they will charge us, and we will have to pass on the additional charge to you, when we receive the freight bill - sometimes this can take as long as a month. If you know when you place your order that you will want a lift gate to get the loom off the truck, we will have to know at that time so we can adjust your charges. Our "free shipping in the continental US on floor ooms" does not cover lift gates or special shipping and delivery conditions.
WHAT ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS, OR SHIPMENTS TO ALASKA OR HAWAII?
Most smaller items and some spinning wheels can be shipped out of the US. Please place your order using the "mail order" check out, either US or INTL as appropriate, and we will calculate your total with shipping. We prefer Paypal over other credit card methods for International shipments. We don't ship floor looms or Jensen spinning wheels outside of the lower 48 states. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and all other addresses out of the continental US will be calculated by your package size, weight, and address.
WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING?
For any claims of damage in shipping please contact us within 5 days of receipt, and SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS, if you find any damage to your order, even if the box it arrived in appears in good condition. Shipping damage must be verified by the carrier, but contact us first. We reserve the right to replace items damaged in shipping, or found to have manufacturing defect (an unlikely possibility). We are not responsible for losses due to carriers' negligence or standard practices, such as leaving goods on porches or garages without your signature, unless you notify us at the first opportunity that you have not received your package. We will instruct you how to proceed.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Authorization is required, there may be a restocking fee, and some items are not returnable: used, demo, sale merchandise, and antique items are sold "as is", fiber, yarn, handmade items, special order items, books and dvds are not returnable.
