The Jensen spinning wheels are so special! These are fast, smooth, wheels. The workmanship on these wheels is superb, and they spin wonderfully. Double drive and scotch tension are included on all models, and all are double-treadle (single treadle is available by request). All Jensen wheels are made of solid cherry, and are signed and numbered by the maker. Most wheels come with 3 bobbins. See descriptions for exceptions. The wheels are unfinished, and are partially disassembled to ship. Recommended finishes: a) hand rubbed, good quality satin or semi-gloss tung oil, 2 to 3 coats; repeat if you wish to add to the patina OR b) stain if desired, seal, and lacquer (2 coats). Shipping charges are not included in the price of the Jensen wheels. Option prices: Extra bobbins, regular or high speed, email for price. Extra whorls, high speed or ultra high speed, or 4 inch slow whorl, email for price.Tensioned lazy kate which can hold up to 3 bobbins, email for price; tensioned lazy kate which can hold up to 4 bobbins, email for price.
