Sock and sweater yarns suitable for hand or machine knitting in wool cotton blends and wool blends, IN STOCK, many of the wonderful Schachenmayr Regia and Regia Ringel sock yarns. Try a couple balls of the Regia Ringel for your next pair of socks! This fantastic yarn has hit the knitting world by storm. The lovely variegated yarn knits up into tweeds, stripes, fair isle patterns, lines, zigzags, or dots, as if by magic, without changing balls while knitting. It's impossible to show the rich colors and textures of these fine yarns on a web page - the images don't come close to displaying the beauty and intensity of each color. The wool/cotton blend yarn is supplied in 4-ply 50 gram balls, approximately 210 meters; 37% cotton, 38% wool with 25% polyamid (nylon) for durability; absorbent, comfortable, washable soft yarn. For best results use between size 1-1/2 and 3 US needles. 4 ply yarn requires 2 balls per pair of socks. Regia Wool/Cotton Blend Yarn, priced at $6.95 per ball.. The 6 ply yarn is 50 gram balls,150 meters; 75% wool with 25% polyamid (nylon) and generally 3 balls per average adult pair of socks. For 6 ply yarn, use size 2 - 4 US needles.
