Sock yarns suitable for hand or machine knitting in wool and wool blends, STILL IN STOCK, many of the wonderful Schachenmayr Regia Jacquard, Fair Isle and Regia Ringel sock yarns. This page contains our remaining stock, with some in 4 ply and some in 6 ply. Try a couple balls of the Regia for your next pair of socks! This fantastic yarn hit the sock-knitting world by storm. The lovely variegated yarn knits up into a stripes, fair isle patterns, lines, zigzags, or dots, as if by magic, without changing balls while knitting. It's impossible to show the rich colors and textures of these fine yarns on a web page - the images don't come close to displaying the beauty and intensity of each color. Supplied in 4-ply 50 gram balls, (210 meters) and 6-ply 50 gram balls (125 meters). Content is 75% wool with 25% nylon for durability; non-felting, washable, wears well. Balls are sold in multiples of 2 only unless the particular color says "only 3 left". Regia WOOL BLEND YARN is ON SALE FOR $6.00 per each ball. Order by color numbers indicated below, for example, "Regia 5047-4" or "Regia 5269-6". Note: We have a minimum merchandise order of $20 on mailorders. All items on this page are in stock as of 2/8/2010. Need needles? Just ask! We carry bamboo needles in single- and double-point, and circular needles. For 4 ply sock yarn, use size 1 -2 US needles; for 6 ply yarn, use size 2 - 4 US needles. Do you see what I see? The color descriptions I have given are as I see them, and may not be as you see them. They may vary due to dye lot changes, lighting, and individual perceptions of color. They are only given as an aid to interpret the images, which, due to the nature of the internet, are not always true to life. |
